Shari wrote:March’s meeting is finally set at the Franklin Park Park District on Sunday, March 7, at 10:00 am. This will be our traditional chili cook-off, with the traveling trophy for the grand prize winner, and gift cards for runners-up. Mike Phillips from Automotive Machine and Performance will be in attendance . Who knows – maybe a surprise or two? If you’re competing in the cook-off, please bring a crock-pot of your finest. The club will provide spoons, bowls, extension cords, grated cheddar cheese and sour cream.

Chilli serving time is 12:00 noon.

Just an FYI...If you make your chili the day before or earlier, before bringing it to the meeting, you may want to warm it up a bit just to take the chill off.

You are correct - Loyd was a tad premature.
