April 10, 2010 Meeting in Darien

Postby Turbo Loyd » Fri Feb 26, 2010 10:27 pm

Darien Park District
7301 Fairview
Darien, IL 60561
Meeting and technical session Saturday April 10, 2010 at 10:00 AM

We have invited Precision Turbo and Engine to fill us in on the new turbo technology and numbering systems. Joe Krivickas or an designated speaker will be on hand.

Event Flier

In researching the flier it appears we have not been having sessions with PT&E since they invited us for a shop tour when the Midwest Buick Challenge was rained out on a Saturday. Anybody remember what year that was. Thank Camper Dave for bringing up the fact we should invite them for a session.

Sounds great to me. I still believe Harry likes Buicks. Even though they are so diversified now. But he had to do what it took to grow his business. Always grateful for what he does for us.

I agree wholeheartedly. Harry and Patrick are putting on a technical session at the Turbo Buick Nationals in Burlington, NC.

Is everything still a GO with PT&E for this tech session? I know I'm looking forward to learning the numbering system. They don't make sense to me now. But then again Steve Else has tried to explain this to me.....Maybe that's my problem... :P :P :P

Yes, it's a GO! Patrick Rubio is coming from PT&E - if anyone needs any goodies I would suggest they contact him to bring them.

Joe - Can we get in there earlier (like 9 am) to fire up the coffee pot and get the crock pots going?

Hard to believe that it's just over a week away!

Well it turned out to be a great day for us with all the Buicks that turned out with their owners. Was like a car show. Patrick did a great job for us.

I don't think Byron will allow you to run that. Maybe you could run the dually though.

Maybe you should have made that trip to Indy.
