I don't know about the rest of you, but I had a great time yesterday. I think the new location is a keeper for sure (if I have any say). Don't know what the final count was, but I think at least 300 cars/trucks/motorcycles showed up. The guys from the Local were really nice - almost as goofy as us.
Had a bunch of laughs with Shari, Barb, Carol, Linda & Martha registering cars. Oh Martha... welcome to the wonderful world of us silly ladies, glad I finally got to chat with you a bit. Mike always keeps you to himself, tell him I said thanks for sharing. heeheeee

Beth

P.S. OP, Liam had fun directing cars with you... wants to know if he can do it again next year, I said yes but he had to wear the shirt LOL

Ditto what Beth said! I think the new venue worked well - what did you all think? The union (Steve) did an awesome job of getting door prizes, raffle prizes, and the silent auction stuff. Mike did a great job of spinning tunes, as usual. Thanks to all who gave up part of their holiday to help out the food pantry. I hope you all had a good time!

It was a nice venue, getting cars in and out was a little more challenging than before, but with the help of Liam next year it should run a bit smoother. Having the building with cold AC was a definate plus, probably kept some people from experiencing heat stroke. Unfortunately we didnt get a chance to stick around to see what cars placed and who won the big ticket items, but we had fun regardless.
